Welcome to the House of Animals! Our home is filled with
lots of love and lots of fur! Currently in residence are; Glen,
Rachel, Kyra, Summer, Mungo, Mysty, Diz, and Chloe. Let me tell
you a bit about each of the furred gang.
Summer is the sweetheart of the group. This 90-pound,
lovable, soft-eyed female golden retriever is the play pal of
the
our home. She is submissive enough to get along with anyone.
But she prefers to play with everyone including children, other
pups, and even cats! During pet sitting if one of our visitors
is having a bad day and missing home, Summer makes them forget
their worries and have a great time. Summer is also a certified
Therapy Dog.
And
then there is Mungo. Mungo is Fetch and Summer's first son.
One of four pups from their first litter. Mungo is indescribable,
still a puppy over five years of age, he acts like an adult
with puppy destructive habits! He loves to play and just be
himself. Mungo is close to 100 pounds!
Our newest addition to this gang is Sweet Mysty Heaven, aka
Mungo's bride-to-be. What a sweetheart this pup is. And of course
she is our daughter's best friend!
That
brings us to Diz and Chloe. These cats are very "dog-smart".
They know who they can cuddle with and who they have to run
away from. Diz is a 15-pound red-tabby, who was rescued from
the trunk of a car with his siblings. He loves to have life
his own way and thinks he is part-dog. Chloe is a 9-pound rescued
grey-tabby who was the only survivor of an attempt to drown
a litter of kittens. She prefers to pretend she is a great cat
on the plains while hunting everything that oves outside. Our
cats tolerate any visitors we have in our home, but prefer our
dogs the most.
That is why we call ourselves the house of
animals!
